A 19 year old boy in Rumphi is reported to have died on queue while waiting for treatment at the district’s hospital.
According to reports, the teenager was told to wait for him to be tested for Coronavirus due to his condition.
Unfortunately, he died before any of the tests happened.
The development angered villagers who went rogue and started vandalizing the property at the hospital.
some of the properties damaged are hospital tents, health workers houses and their maize fields.
Authorities at the hospital are yet to make assessment on the total amount of the damaged properties.
