Auxiliary Teachers Petition Govt Over Contract Termination

Auxiliary teachers under the IPTE 14 program have petitioned government to come out clear on the termination of their contracts.

According to Blessings Mgunduwadze, a representative of the grouping it is surprising to note that they have been relieved from duty, in spite of signing a three month long contract, ending March 2022.

Mgunduwadze said that the teachers who were assigned to various public schools in Lilongwe have also been told that they will not receive payments for the time they have already served.

He further confirmed that they have written the ministry of education to provide a thorough explanation on the termination of their contracts.
