Bushiri donates relief items to flood victims in Chikwawa

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church on Thursday reached out to 1, 200 families affected by Cyclone Ana in Ngabu, Chikwawa District.

Speaking after the donation Bushiri reiterated a call to different companies and individuals to channel help towards Tropical Storm Ana survivors.

In Chikwawa over 98,000 households have been affected by the disaster.

The gesture by Prophet Bushiri, known as Major One, follows declaration of National Disaster by President Lazarus Chakwera for aid to be channeled to the affected families.

Hundreds of people in N’gabu have gathered at the site where distribution of food and other relief items is taking place.
