Information confined to FaceofMalawi from highly placed sources has indicated that one of the managers of Indian origin at Bakelines Limited in Lilongwe is on the run following allegations that he sodomised two employees at the company.
According to a Facebook Post by one known social commentator, Idriss Ali Nassah, Singh left Malawi via Kamuzu International Airport on January 28.
The matter had been reported to police on January 24 and the suspect had gone into hiding.
Labour Minister Vera Kamtukule says her ministry has written the Immigration Department to cancel the temporary employment permit for Paramit Singh, who is accused of sodomizing the two employees aged 23 and 24.
Meanwhile, Kanengo Police Spokesperson Esther Mkwanda says they have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
