Thieves ransack Bishop Musikuwa’s house in Chikwawa

Armed robbers have stolen laptops and cellphones at the residence of the Catholic Bishop of Chikwawa diocese in the wee hours today.

Chikwawa Police Officer-In-Charge Assistant Commissioner Alex Simenti, has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Simenti, the items were stolen at the Sisters’ house while in the Bishop’ house, the thugs only took the food items they found in the refrigerator after searching for money in vain.

Police said Bishop Peter Musikuwa and others are unhurt and that the law enforcers have launched a manhunt to arrest the criminals.
