Chaos as Lumbira CDSS students protest after being gagged from using primary school classes

Classes were this morning disrupted at Lumbira Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) in Blantyre following a pandemonium over classrooms with Lumbira Primary School.

It is said that due to lack of enough classrooms at the school the headmaster at the CDSS asked for unoccupied classrooms belonging to primary school located at the same premises.

The primary school head teacher accepted forms 1 and 3 were being accommodated in the unoccupied classrooms.

All over suddenly, this morning primary school authority blocked secondary school students from access the classes.

The development angered the learners who retaliated by holding peaceful protest over the matter.

Lumbira CDSS head teacher William Phiri has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Meanwhile, the situation has been normalized.
