Prophet David Mbewe, founder of Freedom of Worship Association Movement (FOWAM) has condemned the remarks made CCAP Nkhoma Synod Reverend, Yasin Gama of Mvama Church attacking gulewankulu other churches in country.
Pastor Yasin Gama was quoted in a video clip which has gone viral on social media attacking gulewamkulu as a cult of sinners enjoying equal blessings of rains from God alongside the righteous.
In another video, the pastor is heard mocking the Roman Catholic Church on how they pray, terming the same as ‘aerobatics gymnastics’.
In a letter addressed to Nkhoma Synod General Secretary copied to Presidential Advisor on Religious Affairs, Mvama CCAP and the Chewa Heritage, Prophet Mbewe has described Gama’s preaching as an unacceptable.
Prophet Mbewe has since asked the Nkhoma Synod to caution Pastor Yasin Gama.
