Couple Involved In A Car Accident On Their Way To Wedding Ceremony, Groom Dies On The Spot While Bride Taken To The Hospital

It was supposed to be one of the joyful moments in the lifetime of a man and his wife-to-be but it turned into sorrow after the man had a car accident and passed away.

Mohammed Zakari passed away in a car accident that happened on the Kumasi-Accra highway at Fumesua on Sunday, March 13 on his way to his marriage ceremony.

The police gave a piece of detailed information that a ford escape car being driven by the groom with registration AS 3222-21 which was occupied by four of his friends ran into a ditch after it lost control.

The groom died at the spot whilst the other four friends of his were rushed to the KNUST Hospital for emergency care.

The would-be wife went into a coma after hearing the sad news and has been in that state till now. Meanwhile, in accordance with the Islamic rites, the groom, Zakari has been laid to rest.
