Gift Chimulu laid to rest

The body of the late Gift Chimulu, who was Spokesperson for the Department of Forestry, was on Sunday laid to rest at Chiwaula village, in the area of Traditional Authority Malengachanzi, in Nkhotakota district.

According to Innocent Nyirenda who is Head of Human Resource , Management and Development, in the department, Chimulu died after a vehicle he was traveling in was washed away by flash floods , near Kalinyeke Toll gate in Dedza district, Sunday last week.

His body was found on Saturday evening in Dedza.

Remains of his workmate, Gerald Kamanga, who was in the same vehicle, were found two days after the accident.
