Kalindo And CCTV Threaten Demos If Govt Fails To Deal With Suspects Implicated in Chingeni Toll Plaza Theft

Executive Director for Concerned Citizens Timely Voice (CCTV), Bon Kalindo declared that it would not hesitate to take to the streets should appropriate authorities fail to act on the suspects of theft at Chingeni Toll Gate.

According to kalindo, continued theft of public funds will only be stemmed if the police and the Anti-Corruption Bureau act with speed on cases like the current one.

Yesterday, new broke out that six toll collectors were involved in theft of K10 million at Chingeni Toll Plaza.

Roads Fund Administration (RFA) confirmed the news and suspended the officers for allegedly manipulating the toll payment system by issuing unwarranted duplicate receipts to unsuspecting motorists.
