Zambian Man Dies After Taking 8 Bottles Of Spirits

Police in Zambia have confirmed the death of a 39 year old man Benjamin Mulenga who died after drinking 8 bottles of Tujilijili.
Central Province Police commanding officer Donald Mwandila said the police in central received a report of sudden and unnatural death from Gregory Mulenga who reported that his young brother Benjamin Mulenga 39, of valley view Kapiri Mposhi died after consuming eight bottles of spirits on Tuesday.
” The deceased’s body has been inspected at Kapiri Mposhi urban clinic where he died from upon being rushed there by his relatives and no injuries were seen,” Mr Mwandila said.
Police reports also reveal that the number of those who’ve died has risen to 16 while two others were referred to Kabwe central Hospital.
