Sub Traditional Authority Katumbi dies after being hit by motorcycle

Sub Traditional Authority Katumbi, whose real name is Paul Kachilanga, of Nkhotakota district, has died after being hit by a motorcycle at Jenda in Mzimba district on Thursday.

Nkhotakota District Council Spokesperson, Stanley Nkhondoyachepa has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.

According to Nkhondoyachepa, the traditional leader was rushed to Nkhamenya Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

He shall be laid to rest on Sunday, at his headquarters in Lupachi, in the district.

The Late Kachilanga was elevated to the position of Sub TA, on 13th February this year.
