Information reaching this publication indicates that Bishop Fanwell Magangani of the Anglican Church Northern Malawi Diocese has been involved in road accident at Jenda Trading Centre in Mzimba.
It is said that the accident happened as the Bishop was trying to pave way for President Lazarus Chakwera’s convoy.
Mangani’s vehicle was hit at the back by an IT vehicle, a development which caused his vehicle to swerve from the road.
Bishop Magangani has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press, saying he is in good health despite the accident.
Meanwhile police have rushed to the scene.
