Police spokesperson in the South West Region, Beatrice Mikuwa has confirmed the arrest of 5 people for possessing two rifles; Baby Browning Pistol and Parabellum Pistol, in Machinjiri, Blanrtyre.
Mikuwa has identified the 5 as Ali Chafikana, David Nkhata, Yotamu Nyalugwe, Shepherd Alvin and Felix Kashoti and were arrested yesterday.
The five were also found with a set of motor vehicle number plates in a Nissan Port Registration Number NU652 that they were driving.
