Angry villagers in Thyolo have set ablaze Thekerani Police Unit after a suspect was found dead in the police cell.
According to information at hand, the suspect was arrested yesterday for allegedly stealing a motorbike, but has been found hanging from the roof of the cell.
Relatives and villagers around the police unit invaded the place after hearing the news and they have so far broken window glasses, burnt office equipment and other appliances.
Meanwhile, there are running battles between police and the angry villagers.
