DPP Fears Another Devaluation Of Kwacha If Govt Continues Making Mistakes

Former finance minister, Goodall Gondwe is fearing for another devaluation of the kwacha soon if government continue to make same mistakes.

Gondwe spoke during Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) media briefing In Lilongwe

Gondwe said it is government’s duty to enhance the welfare of the people, he says however that the Tonse Leadership is enhancing its own welfare.

He called for economy stabilization measures if Malawi is to avoid this. “They should be careful”. he added.

Gondwe added that people are not eating three times a day as promised during campaign.

“Chakwera said if he doesn’t deliver in two years he would resign, what is he waiting for?” Wondered Gondwe.
