Colleen Zamba sworn-in as new SPC

The newly appointed Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba has been sworn-in at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe.

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera appointed Zamba on Tuesday after firing Zanga-zanga Chikhosi who is embroiled in corruption allegations.

Speaking after swearing in ceremony, Chakwera asked Zamba to put the welfare of Malawians at heart when discharging her duties.

Chakwera also asked Zamba to desist from corruption activities.
