Missing man’s body exhumed, reburied in Thyolo

The body of Mr McCollins Peheliwa who was reported missing from Namitambo Village, Traditional Authority Kadewere in Chiradzulu District was exhumed from St Pius cemetery and reburied yesterday at around 7PM at his home village in Chiradzulu.

He was reported missing on Wednesday 25th May, 2022 after leaving Quick Pass Driving School ( Chichiri, Blantyre) at around 12 noon during that particular day.

Following his death, there has been news circulating that he was involved in an accident.

According to information at hand, after his death, the body of Peheliwa was kept at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital Mortuary for some days.

Later hospital officials declared the body as unclaimed and was buried at St. Pius Cemetery in Blantyre by the police.

Relatives of the deceased yesterday exhumed the body with the help of the police and reburied it in Thyolo District.
