CDEDI Baying For Mkaka’s Head Over His Benz

Civil Society Organization under the banner Center for Democracy Economic and Initiatives (CDEDI) has asked .Minister of Natural Resources and Climate Change Eisenhower Mkaka to clear the air over his Mercedes Benz he procured in 2020.

Social media is awash with reports that Mkaka’s car might have been shipped in the country by UK based businessman and corruption suspect Zuneth Sattar in 2020.

The Mercedes Benz bearing chassis number WDD2221322A338705 and registration number KT17040, has been center of controversy after UK Court document displayed a list of cars that were sent to Malawi government officials as gifts.

CDEDI’s Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa has called on Mkaka to give a satisfactory explanation on the matter or resign.

Mkaka is yet to comment on the matter.
