Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that armed thugs have stolen Mk60 million from the house of Sino Sky Industrial Managing Director Yizhong Cai at Nathenje in Lilongwe.
Lilongwe Police spokesperson Hastings Chigalu has confirmed of the robbery incident in an interview with the press, saying the incident happened last night.
According to Chigalu, the armed thugs also went away with a pistol and other assorted items.
The law enforcers have since launched a manhunt.
