Wandale sues govt for declaring him insane, demand 666 quadrillion United States Dollars

Leader of People’s Land Organization (PLO) Vincent Wandale has dragged to court the government of Malawi under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for declaring him insane person in 2018.

In a court document seen by this publication, Wandale has sued government for defamation and he is demanding $666 quadrillion in compensation.

The court has since set August 9, 2022 as the day the court will start hearing the case.

Wandale was arrested in 2018 for allegedly spreading false rumours that he was a President of another country within Malawi.

He was later sent to Zomba Mental Hospital in 2018 by the Lilongwe Magistrate Court following a report by a Psychiatric from Kamuzu Central Hospital declaring him as mentally challenged man.
