Side Chick Disrupt MC Gome’s Wedding, Friends React

Friends of Malawi’s celebrated Master of Ceremony (MC), Gomezgani Tembo have taken to social media to console him after his wedding cancellation scandal.

Tembo, popularly known as MC Gome was scheduled to tie a knot with his longtime sweetheart on Saturday in Lilongwe but the wedding was cancelled at the 11th hour.

This happened after unknown woman showed up at the wedding claiming that she was impregnated by MC Gome.

The development did not go down well with the bride who retaliated by walking out of the church where the wedding was scheduled to be officiated.

This has also attracted mixed reactions with many attacking MC Gome but his friends have taken to social media to console him.

Wise manda wrote: “I Love This Talented Young Man Gomezgani Tembo he will come back stronger and powerful. We all error in life only that not all off us are in many people’s hearts. Many are disappointed equally with him and his Girl Friend because we were all happy with him getting married. Our love should be like soldiers who don’t leave their fellow behind, it’s time to carry him on our shoulders and help him move from where he is to where he can recover very well. One day we will Cerebrate together and this next time will be more powerful and people will cry with Joy enjoying the victory of one strong soldier who once was down but he did not give up.

“I know there alot who are going through the same, my words to you is never give up, think with God, make your decision with the Holy Spirit, and follow the purpose of God. Don’t let depression overtook your energy to get up one more time. Rise and move again towards your vision.”

Concurring with Manda’s remarks Robert Mwiba wrote: “I’ve finally gathered up myself to at least comment something about what you, my friend and colleague Gome is experiencing.

“Gome, you are a great young man, hardworking, disciplined, dedicated and matured. I admire your work ethics. I admire your commitment to what you do.

“To error is very human. We regret in many things that happens to us, things we could control as well as those we could not. Casting stones on you is not and will never be an option for me.

“What I’m trying to communicate is that I stand behind you Gome and Rabecca. You will gather up yourselves and come back stronger. I believe you will make a great couple. Its just a matter of time.

“Zangokhala kuti enawa sanagwidwe chabe koma we are in no way better than you Gome.

“Stay strong brother. Stand tall knowing we have your back, you are in our prayers. Our God is faithful God who is capable of picking us from our very lowest point, cleans us up, and put us on a higher ground.”

Protasio Jedidiah: “Proverbs 24:16 says; “For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again.”

“A man is not finished when he falls, a man is finished when he quits. Don’t judge a man by the number of times he falls, but by the number of times he falls and gets back up.

“We are defined by God. We are not defined by our mistakes. We are defined by what we do with them. Mistakes are inevitable. We’re all going to make them. It’s how we handle them is what really defines us. Your mistakes will either propel you or sink you. The beautiful thing about life is that we can always change, grow and get better. We are not defined by our past! This too shall pass bro. You shall rise & Shine again. Shine on My Brother.”

Meanwhile, MC Gome is yet to comment on the matter.
