Chaos as woman stabs wife of her ex-husband during church service in Salima

Police in Salima have arrested a 42-year-old woman identified as Mary Laudon for stabbing the new wife of her ex-husband during a church service at Katelera CCAP church in the district.

Salima Police Public Relations Officer Jacob Khembo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Khembo, the victim yesterday attended a church service with her spouse and while in church.

The suspect who was divorced by the husband on July 21, 2022 sat closer to the new wife and stabbed the victim four times on the neck using a knife.

Other members of the church rescued the victim and rushed her to Salima Police who referred the victim to Salima District Hospital.
