Former President Dr. Joyce Banda has acknowledged and applauded the great job local musicians do through their art.
Through her Facebook page, Banda said she thanks God for local Musicians who entertain, comfort, inspire, motivate and educate in creative ways through their music.
Among others, she mentioned songs like “Nge” a 3 days old release by Patience Namadingo, which already has over 155 000 views on YouTube.
Banda also acknowledged songs by Gwamba, Eli Njuchi, Great Angels Choir, Ndirande African Voices and Katele Ching’oma of ‘Ndili nawo mwayi’ fame.
Meanwhile, various people have applauded Banda for being a leader who pays attention and recognizes local talent as this will work as a source of motivation to many.
