TNM Super league winners, Nyasa Big Bullets with face Simba FC of Tanzania in the preliminary round of the 2022-2023 CAF Champions League, this fixture follows a draw conducted yesterday in Cairo, Egypt.
Preliminary rounds [first round -home/Away] are scheduled between September 09 – 11 and September16 – 18 2022.
While second Round (Home/Away) to be staged between October 07 – 9 Oct and 14 – 16 Oct 2022.
Bullets have failed to go beyond the preliminary rounds of the competition for many years. Last year, they exited the competition following 3- 2 loss on aggregate to Amazulu FC of South Africa.
Wydad Athletic Club are the reigning CAF Champions League champions. Another Moroccan club, RS Berkane are the defending champions of the CAF Confederation Cup – having won the trophy twice in three years.
