Senior Chief Chilowamatambe laid to rest in Kasungu

The body of Senior Chief Chilowamatambe was on Friday laid to rest at Matambe headquarters in Kasungu.

Born Charles Tadeyo Mwale, the late chief died on Wednesday at Kamuzu Central Hospital after succumbing to diabetes and high blood pressure.

Among the notable dignitaries who attended the funeral were Minister of Local Government, Blessings Chinsinga, Minister of Homeland Security ,Jean Sendeza, and Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda, Afford President Enock Chihana among others.

The late Chilowamatambe was 77 and is survived by 2 wives, 5 children and 24 grandchildren.
