Teacher wins Toyota Vitz in NBS Bank win a car promotion

Humphrey Sandram, a teacher at Mpilisi Community Day Secondary has won a Toyota Vitz in the just ended NBS Bank ‘Win A Car Promotion.’

After the bank delivered the car, Sandram said the prize comes at the right time when he is trying to scale up his business.

“I am excited to have won the prize. I am a science teacher but I also do business. The car will reduce my transport costs, I thank NBS Bank for launching the promotion,” said Sandram.

Acting District Commissioner for Balaka, Darwin Mngoli, applauded the bank for giving back to the community.

“The gesture by NBS Bank is commendable. I should remind and encourage the corporate world to consider various corporate social responsibility projects in their respective markets,” said Mngoli.

Head of Marketing and Customer Experience at NBS Bank, Tamanda Longwe said the ‘Win a Car Promotion’ sought to encourage a saving culture among its customers.

“The essence of the promotion was to reward our customers and encourage them to save more with the bank. We were in trying times but it is also important to save so that when further trying times come, one have something for the rainy day,” said Longwe.

The bank has since promised to continue serving the market with customer-centric services.
