Linda Kunje arrives at Court ahead of her sentencing

Former Commissioner for Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Linda Kunje has arrived at Zomba Magistrate Court ahead of her sentencing.

Kunje and her driver were convicted last week in a case where they were accused of attempting to overtake President Dr. lazarus Chakwera’s convoy.

Kunje and Tewesa who were convicted and remanded to prison on August 19, 2022 and all others concerned are at court to witness the sentence delivery.

Anytime soon Chief Resident Magistrate Austin Banda of Zomba will deliver his ruling on the matter.
