CHANCO students in running battles with armed police officers


Police have fired teargas to disperse dozens of University of Malawi (Unima) students who went violent after presenting a petition to Zomba District Commissioner Smart Gwedemula.

The students are against what they call inconsiderate academic calendar which has five months holiday.

According to information at hand, the students are currently in running battles with the law enforcers.
