Fredokiss lambasts Kazako for blocking Mussa John release

Well-known hip-hop star Fredokiss, real name Penjani Kalua has blasted Minister of Information and Digitalization Gospel Kazako for blocking the pardoning of Mussa John who is serving a 3 years jail sentence for being found in possession of Chamba.

Three days ago leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa penned President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera asking him to pardon Mussa John and former Commissioner of the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Linda Kunje.

In his response, Kazako said President Chakwera will not be forced to pardon the two, saying the the Executive will not be pushed to meddle into the affairs of the Judiciary on the matter.

According to Kazako, the President respects the separation of power by the independent arms of government, and that, he will always follow procedures and conditions before pardoning prisoners.

But this has not gone down well with Fredokiss.

“Ignore the background noise, have faith in the President. The father of the Nation. He knows the Constitution. Our petition is Clear ndi John Mussa yekha inline with SELECTIVE JUSTICE,” wrote Kalua on his official facebook page.

Meanwhile, it is yet to be seen if the President will bow down to the pressure and release the two.
