Cabinet reshuffle looms , Energy Minister Ibrahim Matola risks firing

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is planning to reshuffle his cabinet.

According to inside sources, the reshuffle with see the current Minister of Energy Ibrahim Matola being shown exit door for failing to find solutions to the ongoing power crisis aswell as fuel crisis.

The source has also told this publication that some Ministers will also demoted while other Deputy Ministers will be promoted to a full Ministers.

Social media influencer Gerald Chavez Kampanikiza has also confirmed of the development in his facebook post.

“Kaya muli mbali iti ya Malawi, ife ndiye tili ku Dedza pa Ashley’s Lounge, kuno ndiye tikumva ka mphepo ka mini cabinet reshuffle kaya inu kumeneko?” wrote Kampanikiza.
