Nankhumwa attends Nyaka’s funeral in Ndirande

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa who is also leader of opposition in Parliament on Sunday, October 16, 2022 attended the funeral service for the late Lester Nyaka in Ndirande Township in Blantyre.

The late Nyaka was father to one of Honourable Nankhumwa’s security aides, Jones Nyaka.

Late Nyaka died on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) after a long illness.

In his comforting message to the bereaved family, Nankhumwa said he was saddened by the death of Nyaka, whose son is an honest and dedicated member of his security team.

He said the family had lost a great pillar and urged them to put everything in the hands of God.
