Police in Mulanje have arrested two Nigerian nationals over illegal entry in Malawi.
Deputy Publicist Mulanje Sergeant Leah Kambalame identified the two as Kingsley Mwachuku aged 25 and Vincent Onyeneka aged 27.
Kambalame said the suspects were arrested on the night of 17 October in Mathambi Village where they used to stay.
She said, “The police rushed to the scene and arrested the two suspects, whereby they both have no proper documents allowing them to stay in Malawi.”
“The duo has been charged with illegal entry which infringe section 21 of the Penal code and will appear in court soon.” She explained
Police have therefore appreciated the community for the partnership in ensuring a safe and secure country.
