Maxwell Gastin Phodo says bye to Silver Strikers

Forward Maxwell Gastin Phodo has left Silver Strikers after the two parties failed to agree on contractual terms.

This has been confirmed in a statement signed by the club’s Public Relations Officer David Daniel Dauda made available to faceofmalawi.

According to the statement, Phodo’s contract expired at the start of this month.

“The club did everything possible to extend the player’s contracts but his demands were beyond what the club can manage hence the deadlock. The club therefore confirms that the player has left with immediate effect as a free agent,” reads the statement in part.
