Chilima Crowned mindset change champion

National Planning Commission has today presented the Malawi 2063 (MW2063) Overall Mindset Change Championship Certificate to Vice President Saulos Chilima at his office at Capital Hill.

NPC Director General Thomas Munthali says one of the key elements to achieve MW2063 is mindset change.

Munthali said Malawi is surrounded by people with negative mindset, adding that some of them are even asking NPC to revise the MW2063 targets but that Chilima has been in the forefront promoting positive thinking among Malawians.

Speaking after NPC Board Chairperson Richard Mkandawire presented him with the certificate, Chilima has said Malawi needs a positive mindset and a sense of urgency when looking at issues of development.

He noted that with a positive mindset, anything can happen citing the example of Saudi Arabia which yesterday beat Argentina in the World Cup, just because of having a positive mindset.
