Ntchisi Police spokesperson Yohane Tasowana has confirmed the arrests of nine people for allegedly being found in possession of more than two national Identity Cards (ID’s) when buying the fertilizer under the Affordable Inputs Program ( AIP).
Tasowana said the suspects have been arrested in areas of Malomo and Kansonga respectively after they were found with the said ID’s while on the cue trying buy the commodity.
He said the police will provide further details later once investigations regarding this issue are concluded.
