CHIPONDA AGAINST SPREADING FAKE NEWS ABOUT TREATMENTS, VACCINES

Minister of health Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda has advised the populace to utilize social media for good cause.

Kandodo Chiponda said this yesterday during the commemoration of World Aids day in Mpemba, Blantyre.

She further asked people to desist from spreading fake news on social media regarding various treatments such as ARVs, Covid-19 and Cholera vaccines.

Kandodo Chiponda also revealed that government has allocated K170 million in the national budget for ARvs procurement.

She concluded that government is now focus on tackling new infections among the youth.
