Well-known hip hop star IKK, real name Ishmael Kachale has been attacked and robbed by unknown thugs in Chirimba Township in the commercial capital Blantyre.
The singer met his fate last night near Love Of God area in Chirimba as he was driving home.
According to information at hand, the armed thieves blocked the road with huge stones.
“Becareful this December when traveling especially at Night. Lastnight, IKK got attacked by armed robbers. Anamuyikila miyala pa nseu, iye atayima basi ayamba kuswa galimoto ndi zikwanje, iye pophelela kumukhapa khapa.
“He doesn’t know how he made it out alive and escaped. He thanks God for saving his life and urges people to be extremely careful when traveling at night this festive season. Get well soon Mr Ikk,” said the source.
The artist has also confirmed of the development in a statement shared on his official facebook page.
The matter has since reported to police.
