Malawian woman arrested for scalding her hubby with hot porridge for selling AIP fertilizer, using the money on beer

A 28 year old woman in Dowa is in police custody for scalding her husband with hot porridge for selling Affordable Input Program (AIP) fertilizer and used the money on beer.
Dowa police publicist Gladson M’bumpha confirmed the development and identified the suspect as Enelles Chikapa.
According to M’bumpha, the woman’s husband Emanuel Mapulesi allegedly took five kilograms of AIP fertilizer, sold it and used the money for beer.
This did not go well with the wife who confronted him upon his return.
Chikapa hails from Chisenga Village in T/A Mkukula’s area in the district.
According to M’bumpha, the man sustained scalds and was rushed to Dowa District Hospital by his brother for treatment.
