Reverend Billy Gama’s wish granted, Chakwera appoints him as LWB Board member

As the Bible says in Mathews Chapter 7:7-8- ‘ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened’, these words have come to pass for Blantyre Synod Secretary General Reverend Billy Gama.

Last month, Reverend Gama took advantage of the official launch of the Henry Henderson School of Excellence which was presided over by President Chakwera to ask him to offer him a job as board member of the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA).

Billy Gama’s remarks attracted mixed reactions among Malawians with many accusing him of being a fortune seeker.

Weeks after the request, Chakwera has finally appointed Reverend Billy Gama as one of the board members of the Lilongwe Water Board.

Reverend Gama is together with Inkosi Ya Makosi Mbwelwa V and Traditional Authority Khongoni.

Meanwhile, the social media is flooded with congratulatory messages to Reverend Billy Gama.
