The best Junior Certificate of Education Examinations (JCE) and Malawi School Certificate of Education MSCE examinations (MSCE) students together with best teachers have been awarded yesterday at Chipasula secondary School in Lilongwe.
Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) have awarded fifteen students with a cash prize for scooping 13-15 points during MSCE while six students have been awarded for managing to attain more than four A grades during JCE.
In JCE class the highest got seven A grades.
The awarded teachers received cash prizes ranging from 2000 Kwacha to 60 000 Kwacha for their role to help their students score distinctions during the past examinations.
The Chipasula PTA has spent about 2.9 million Kwacha to award the students and the teachers.
