Another Marymount Secondary School student laid to rest

Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Nancy Mdooka on Thursday led Malawians in paying last respect to Thanthwe M’manjamwada, a second student from Marymount Secondary School who died in road accident.

The burial of M’manjamwada took place at area 18 Cemetery in the capital Lilongwe.

The accident happened on Monday at Luviri in Mzimba.

In her speech Mdooko, who represented President Lazarus Chakwera at the funeral, said it is sad to lose such a young girl who had a promising future.

She appealed to drivers to be careful on the road to avoid causing such accidents.

Other notable people at the funeral were Deputy Minister of Education Monica Chayang’anamuno and Deputy Minister of Health Enock phale.

The late M’manjamwada was born on February 6 2008.
