Police in Salima district have arrested a man Gift Sulumbu aged 25 for allegedly being found in possession with Chamba, illegally.
According to Spokesperson for Salima Police, Jacob Khembo, Sulumbu was caught yesterday by military police officers from Malawi Armed Forces College (MAFCO) when he was trying to enter the Malawi Defense Force (MDF) campus using the small gate.
Khembo added that the suspect was found with illegal drugs wrapped in a plastic bag after thoroughly searched him.
Finally Khembo said the suspect is expected to appear before court soon.
Sulumbu hails from Liwewe village in Traditional Authority (T/A) Maganga in the district.
