Silver Strikers Dissolves Supporters Committee

Following an emergency meeting that Silver Strikers (FC) Board of Directors had, it has dissolved the club’s supporters’ committee with immediate effect.

According to one the Board members who opted for anonymity, the development follows actions of the supporters committee members, who last weekend, sealed the office of the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Thokozani Chimbali, demanding his removal for allegedly initiating the firing of some players.

He said what the supporters did brought both the club and football into disrepute.

The club has offloaded five players namely Frank Banda, Blessings Tembo, Prince Phiri, Mike Robert and Taonga Chimodzi.
