ZAMBIA; The community of Ndola’s Pamodzi residential area and Chawama Primary School were left in shock and deep sorrow after the sudden passing of a beloved 29-year-old teacher.
Grace Mkandawire had recently been recruited as a teacher and had a year full of joyous milestones, including being placed on the government payroll, getting baptized on Christmas day, and marrying her partner on New Year’s Eve.
However, just two weeks after her wedding, Grace tragically collapsed at home and passed away at the hospital.
She was a dedicated member of the United Church of Zambia and her funeral service was held at her congregation in Kalulushi.
Her husband, Erick Kasakula, and her parents shared heart-wrenching tributes to her, remembering her as a kind and loving companion and friend.
It is unfortunate, my condolence to her family.
