Prophet David Mbewe joins Payelepaye demonstrations in Mulanje, fires warning shots at Chakwera

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Prophet David Mbewe of Freedom of Worship and Economic Liberation (FOWEL) has joined the payelepayele demonstrations organized by former United Transformation Movement (UTM) Member Bon Kalindo.

The development comes barely weeks after Prophet Mbewe publicly lambasted President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s leadership describing it as a government built on lies.

Speaking at Chitakale, Prophet Mbewe has said he has joined the demonstrations because of Tonse Administration’s failure to fulfil campaign promises.

Mbewe has since demanded President Chakwera and Vice President Chilima to immediately resign.
