Reggae Musician Arnold Nyoponyopo releases two singles


Veteran reggae star Arnold Nyoponyopo, real name Arnold Nyirenda has released two new hit singles titled ‘Zilibe Ntchito’ and ‘Chaka Chamawa Tionana’ from the yet to be named 5th album to be released in April this year.

The icon released the songs this year through, a popular website in Malawi which was solely designed with an aim of promoting local talents in the country.

The two songs are currently enjoying massive airplay in different radio stations across the country.

In ‘Chaka Chamawa Tionana‘, the artist is warning politicians especially in the current regime under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera that they will be answerable to Malawians in the forthcoming polls for failing to fulfill their campaign promises.

While in ‘Zilibe Ntchito‘, the artist is encouraging lovers not to listen to what others say regarding their loved ones.

By listening to the flow, fusion of the lyrics and the instruments in the song, one will appreciate the good job played by the producer and the talent that the artist has when it comes to composing songs.

Speaking to faceofmalawi after releasing the two songs, Nyoponyopo urged Malawians to continue supporting his music by downloading them on and other local music sites in the country.

Nyoponyopo went further by promising his fans fireworks in 2023.

“My message to my fans, family and friends is that your encouragement is making me to improve each passing day in my  composition of music.

“Expect more vibes this year and it is in local reggae and the message i have in this year is really something else as i also remind all politicians as they enjoy their positions that they should not forget their promises,” said Nyoponyopo.

The artist joined the music industry in 2003  and so far the artist has released four albums namely; Dinyadinya, Ndachoka Kutali, Aneneli Onyenga and  Vuto la Munthu ndi Mtima’.

Currently the artist is working on 5th album which being produced by Apex of Real Sound Studio in the capital Lilongwe.
