UTM speaks out on Chakwera’s new Cabinet

United Transformation Movement (UTM) has said the party is satisfied with 27 member cabinet released by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

UTM spokesperson Felix Njawala said the party expect the new members of cabinet to serve Malawians better and to improve the public service.

Njawala said, their interest now is not the number of UTM members included.

Chakwera has only appointed two faces from the UTM namely Michael Usi who is the party’s Vice President and Vera Kamtukule.

Usi is now Minister of Natural Resources while Kamtukule is now Minister of Education.
