MUBAS Introduces Degree Program in International Trade to Boost Export Business

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) has announced the introduction of a new degree program in International Trade as part of its effort to complement the authorities’ drive of boosting export business in the country.

The university, known for its business programs and for training many of the business executives managing finances in both public and private sectors, has been recognized by the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) for its role in promoting tax compliance.

Executive Dean of the School of Science and Technology at MUBAS, Professor Mphatso Kamndaya, has disclosed plans to introduce the new program, which is currently still in the planning stage.

The program is expected to further strengthen the university’s relationship with the MRA.

“We are proud to introduce the new degree program in International Trade, which we believe will play a critical role in boosting export business in the country,” said Professor Kamndaya.

“Our goal is to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in today’s global marketplace and to support the government’s drive of boosting exports.”

MUBAS has a long history of delivering high-quality business programs and has trained many of the business executives managing finances in both public and private sectors.

With the introduction of the new program, the university hopes to continue to make a positive impact on the business community and to contribute to the growth and development of the economy.
