7 People Arrested Over Missing Of Albino Man In Phalombe

Seven people have been arrested by police in Phalombe in connection to the missing of a 39-year-old man with albinism.

National Police spokesperson, Peter Kalaya has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Kalaya, two of the seven are brothers to the missing person and three people have since been remanded to prison as investigations are underway.

Ajack Namanya a person with albinism from Tezanga village, Traditional Authority (TA) Chiwalo in the district went missing on 29 January 2023 after taking beer at one of the drinking joints.

Communities only found a shoe and a hat allegedly belonging to Namanya the following day.
